Clearer saved jobs — company names, source links, and inline editing
Your Saved Jobs library now shows the company name on each card, with the source (like linkedin.com) tucked into a small pill instead of a long, unreadable URL. It's much easier to scan your list and tell jobs apart at a glance.
When you open a saved job's preview, there's now a link back to the original posting so you can revisit the full listing on the source site in one click — on both desktop and mobile.
You can now fix or fill in a saved job's title, company, and location right from the preview. Handy when an imported posting came through with a missing or messy company name.
Buttons and links that open a job's source site now only follow real web addresses, so manually-added jobs and unusual entries can no longer trigger an unexpected or unsafe link.

Go to Dashboard→Install the CandidateHub MCP from the Official Registry & Smithery
The CandidateHub MCP server is now listed on the Official MCP Registry and on Smithery, so you can discover and add it to your AI agent (Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP clients) without hand-editing config.
Asking your AI assistant for MCP server info now returns the real version and build instead of "unknown", and the server starts up so clients can list all 18 tools before you paste a token — you only need your Personal Access Token when a tool actually calls the API.
A cleaner Job Tracker on mobile
When you have no jobs saved yet, the Job Tracker on mobile now shows a simple 'No jobs tracked yet' screen with an Add Job button, so it's obvious how to get started — instead of showing placeholder entries.
Install the CandidateHub Chrome extension straight from the site
The /extension page has been rebuilt with a clear "Add to Chrome — Free" button that takes you straight to the Chrome Web Store listing, plus a preview of the in-browser panel and a quick three-step walkthrough. New users can now find and install the extension directly from the site in two clicks, while people who already have it can jump straight to connecting their account.
UI polish: softer borders, readable dark mode, consistent editors
Borders across the app are softer and more consistent — the harsh near-black outlines that briefly appeared on cards, panels and inputs in light mode are gone, so pages look calmer and more polished.
Several dark-mode contrast issues are fixed, including the MCP token screen and the Career Timeline on your CV preview, so text and inputs are easy to read in dark mode.
Field labels throughout the resume editor now share one consistent size, weight and spacing, so the editor reads as a single, tidy form in both light and dark mode.
Dialogs now fade and scale in gently when they open, and primary buttons have a subtle glow on hover. Motion is automatically reduced if you've asked your device to minimize animations.
CandidateHub Chrome extension — your AI job-search copilot, in the browser
The new CandidateHub Chrome extension detects the job posting on the page you're viewing — LinkedIn, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, or any company career site — and opens a side panel with everything you need. It's read-only and only acts when you click; it never fills out or submits applications for you.
From any job posting, generate a résumé (and cover letter) tailored to that exact role and download it as a PDF or Word file — without leaving the page.
See how your profile matches a role and an estimated salary range for it, right in the side panel, the moment you open a job.
Save jobs to your tracker and save a search on any job board so you can pick up where you left off — all from the browser.
Import your LinkedIn profile into CandidateHub straight from the extension to get started in seconds.
Scanned & image-only PDF resumes now supported
Resumes saved as scanned or image-only PDFs (e.g. a phone photo or a flatbed scan with no selectable text) now import successfully. We read the document visually and extract your details automatically, instead of asking you to paste the text manually.
CV page-length parity across Preview, PDF, and Word
A CV you ask to be 1 page now fits 1 page in the on-screen Preview, the PDF download, and the Word (DOCX) download — including when an AI assistant generates and downloads it for you.
Server- and AI-assistant-initiated Word exports now respect the requested length instead of always sending the full CV to the Word renderer.
When a CV is downloaded via the MCP tools, both the PDF and DOCX now match the length the CV was actually generated at, instead of defaulting to the longest layout.
Dark mode polish
Several dark-mode contrast and color issues have been fixed across the app for a more consistent, comfortable look.
Generated CVs keep your real name & contact details
Tailored CVs now always retain your actual name and contact information instead of occasionally dropping or altering them.
Saved Resumes update in real time
Newly generated CVs now appear in your Saved Resumes instantly, without needing to refresh the page.
Export & list your generated CVs from AI assistants
You can now export tailored resumes as PDF and view your full CV generation history directly through the MCP tools in your AI assistant.
